My story so far ….
Hi I am Wendy from hereswendy Machine Embroidery Designs, thank you for stopping by, this is my one woman show, but in the background I have the support of my Dad and hubby (everyone needs good support staff lol)
I have been embroidering, stitching and quilting since I was very young, encouraged by my beautiful, creative, late mother (she would love all the exciting technology and designs that are around today)
Creativity and surface design has been a very important part of my life for as long as I can remember.
When I moved to care for my father who was ill, I was given access to my Mum’s old Machine Embroidery machine (she was one of the first up-takers of a new home embroidery technology and loved to do her own designs). This woke a desire in me to start creating original designs. Mum’s machine was no longer working the way it should (RIP “olde-faithful”) so my Dad got me a new machine. Wow what an eye opener. As I was enjoying doing my original designs it occurred to me that others may like to have them as well.
I hope you enjoy my journey as much as I enjoy sharing it.
All the designs in my shop are designed and manually digitized by me; they are not auto-digitized.
